Original 71/84 Mauser Stock

• Description:

  71/84 full wood stock, which remains in sound condition.  There is one 2 3/4" surface crack running from the base of the tang towards the trigger guard.  No loss of wood and an easy reair.  This stock shows it's original and later issue markings.  Butt tang shows Prussian/German G.J.E over 2.84, Q.H.G. 9 Quebec Home Guard.  71/84 's were purchased from Bannermans in NY for the WW1 Quebec Home Guard.  The last issue #24 was with the Quebec Regiment Zuave units post WW1.  Not an easy stock to find.
