• Description:

  SN 45296 is a very scarce revolver for any Colt collection.  This 22 caliber Official Police was built in 1961 and was shipped to Canada.  The former owner's records indicated that the revolver was acquired by the Montreal police as a "Test Model" . This Colt remains in as new condition showing no evidence of any use.  There is no drag line, rebound marks and no burn or staining marks on the face of the cylinder.The blue finish remains at 100% showing no sign of any usage. The original grips remain in untouched condition.  This revolver shows a factory installed lanyard butt swivel.  This revolver comes in it's original box which sustained damage from poor handling or storage.  The corners were separated and glued.  The corners show removed tape damage.  The bottom of the box is serial numbered to the gun.  Included is the factory test target, warranty card and instruction form. A true Colt collectors item.  Prohib Status.
