  This piece is one of the Mossberg Model 173. It is a bolt action 410, 3" shotgun.  This example shows a 24" barrel and is built prior to 1968 with no serial number.  A simple but well made 410 shotgun retaining most of the original blue and wood finish, this gun rates overall excellent.  Hard to find a better inexpensive 410 as good as these today.  Built (1957-1973) Non Restricted
