NSN is an excellent example of a Mossberg Model 142 A 22 caliber SL & LR. This model was built from 1949 to 1957. This example shows all original fold down forewood and 18" barrel. The wood is in excellent condition. All original stock finish and blue. The piece is mounted with a J.C.Higgins 6 power scope with clear optics. An old but sound example of a classic American 22 rifle.
