  SN 287 is a Mosin Nagant Vostok, Olympic Winter Games Biathlon rifle.  These pieces were built in a 6.5 x 54 R caliber.  This example is one of a very few rifles imported into Canada by Century in the early 1990's.  The cartridge for this rifle is basically a necked down 7.62 X 54R MN cartridge.  This piece shows 98% of it's original finish, it's original target sights and nose cap.  This example shows little evidence of actual usage.  The stock remains in excellent condtiion save for a horrible pad that was installed at some time.  (A very easy fix)
