  SN8944 is a Sporterized Mauser 98.  This example shows a bright very good bore.  The bolt body is matching.  Other parts are mixed.  This sporterized rifle is mounted with an Armsport, Japanese 4X 32 scope with clear optics.  Sporterized Mausers appear less frequently than Enfields,etc.  This is one of the 308 conversions of the 98 Mauser done by Israel.  The piece was sporterized later by or for a former owner.
