  SN 53C8496 is a new condition, unfired Lee Enfield #4 rifle built by Savage/Stevens during WW2.  This Enfield shows no usage marks what so ever.  Mint bolt face, bore Parkerized finish, wood and a 1943 dated new condition sling.  The original magazine is factory marked with a matching serial number.  The interior of the receiver shows remnants of the factory cosemoline.  Included with this rifle is it's original No 4 MKII bayonet and scabbard.  The bayonet shows the s mark on the body and plunger.  An exceptional example for the Lee Enfield or Stevens collector.
