  This item is a Venezuelan contract Mauser Model 24/30 built by FN in the mid 1930's.  This is a short rifle with the 23 1/2" barrel in 7 X 57 mm.  This piece shows the FN address on the side rail and the Venezuelan national crest on the receiver ring.  This collector grade piece shows all matching numbers, bright excellent bore, 95% original metal finish, all original wood finish with minor storage or issue marks .  An excellent example for the Mauser or military rifle collector.
