• Description:

  SN 117194 is a Mauser Type B riflew built in 30-06 caliber.  This rifle was built between 1936-37 as per serial listing page 452-453 in "Mauser Sporting Rifles" by Jon Speed et All (collector grade publication).  This piece shows a 24" barrel with a bright excellent bore.  The sights are original mounted with Lyman Alaskan scope (all weather) post and cross wire with clear crisp optics. The mount is Echo, Herkner & Co. of Boise, Idaho.  The stock is original showing minor usage marks and sound checkering.  This rifle was hunted in Africa and North America by the prior owner.  A very sound Mauser from a group of approximately 125,000 built from 1898 to end of WW2.  Ref. see "Blue Book" page 1300 , 36th edition.
