  SN 396462 is a Mauser Model 1914 caliber 7.65.  This commercial pistol is all matching, bright very good plus bore and shows 90% rust blue and heat tempered extractor and trigger.  There were approximately 150,000 of this model built.  Mauser logo on the left side of the frame and the right side of the magazine.  The reference is "Mauser Pocket Pistols 1910-1946 "by Bender. Page 124 shows SN 396796 in the range of this item.  This piece comes in its' original commercial leather holster, unnamed but of German manufacture.
