• Description:

  SN 9827 is a post WW1German Mauser service rifle converted to a 12 ga shotgun.  These guns er covnerted in Germany in the 1920's .  This piece shows a 26 1/2" barrel with bright excellent bore.  The bolt and the action are matching.  This was a 2 shot repeater.  The wood is the original military stock converted to sporter configeration built by GEHA or Remo, marked Germany and commercial proofed.  REF see page 292-93 of "mauser Bolt Rifles" by Ludwig Olson.  90% all original finish.  A piece for the mauser collector or the person who wants the most unique piece on the trap field.
