  71/84 Mauser caliber 43/11mm  Mauser built by Spandau 1888.  This example shows a bright,excellent bore and matching all of the major parts, barrel, bolt,bands, etc.  There are one or two internal parts that don't match.  The metal shows all of it's original finish that has darkened with time and usage.  The wood is sound and complete.  All markings are clear and crisp on the metal and wood. This is one of the rifles that had the stacking rod removed by change of regulations. An excellent example of a sound working 71/84.
