  • Description:

SN7767 is a 71/84 rifle built by Spandau 1887 that was originally German issued.  This rifle is one of a group of 71/84 rifles that were sold by Bannerman's of New York to the Quebec Home Guard (Quebec City) 1914/15.  The butt is marked Q.H.C. #245 and 45. With a  bright excellent bore, it is a matching and mechanically sound example.  The metal is sound with clear markings.  The wood shows obvious service usage and the Quebec and German markings.  A neat example of a WW1 Home Guard rifle from WW1.
