  SN 345L is an uncommon Martini short rifle showing a 26" barrel, caliber 303 with a bright very good rated bore.  This example does not show any military proofs or markings.  This Martini may have been built for a police agency or a militia unit.  The fore cap shows a bayonet base but it does not appear that this carine/short rifle was built to take a bayonet.  The left side of the butt has been hollowed out to accomodate some former use.  An uncommon Martin short rifle or carbine for the Martini collector.  Non Restricted status
