    SN 185340 is a Model 1895 in 45-90.  This rifle shows a shortened barrel to 21 5/8.  The bore rates at bright very good to very good plus with very strong rifling.  This could be used as a shooter in both 45-90 and 45-70.  The finish is overall brown petina with a sound action.  We are selling this item as parts only. With approximately only 18,000 of this model built parts are not that common.  The wood shows usage but is sound.  Any parts guns are sold on a no return basis.
