  SN 360002 us a marlin model 1893 in 30-30 caliber.  this example shows a 26" octagon, full magazine take down barrel.  The bore rates at bright good to very good with overall light corrosion.  The barrel and mag show 60-70% original sights.  The receiver is bright original case turned silver.  The loading gate shows original blue, the screws remain sharp.  The forwood is sound .  The butt shows an old cleaning but no cracks or breaks.  As per Brophy "Marlin Firearms" at page 205 there were 73,186 model 1893 built .  This piece is a special order takedown rifle with realitively few built compared to the standard rifle and carbine.  This rifle was circa 1910.  A pice for the marlin or lever action collector.
