  New in the box condition Lyman 50 caliber Great Plains rifle.  Built in Italy,imported by Lyman, dated Feb 28th 1996,this piece has remained in the box unassembled and unfired for the past 23 years.  Color case hardened hammer & lock, all blackened furniture.  Weight is 11.38 lbs unloaded. The box remains in sound condition showing normal shelf wear and complete with original papers and wrap.  This model is considered to be one of the most authentic muzzle loaders and of the highest quality of factory built percussion rifles.  The next best thing to a custom built Plains rifle.
