  SN 35L8389 is an excellent plus example of a Long Branch rifle converted to 7.62.  The piece shows a 1943 dated receiver but converted Post War for Canadian target shooting community.  This example shows a conversion #1849 stamped on the receiver.  The bore rates bright excellent.  The wood shows all the correct Canadian markings and rates as excellent.  Post factory the rifle was fitted with a hanging trigger ( non factory nut and screw).  This rifle was fitted with a 10 round 7.62 magazine.  The mag is marked CR1256 dated 1965.  NOTE: Most of the 7.62 conversions retained the 303 mags and were used as single shot.  The mag shows no sign of actual usage. An excellent example with less common repeating magazine.
