• Description:

  1942 dated Long Branch , 303 caliber English issue WW2.  This Canadian Long Branch shows a bright excellent plus bore.  The barrel is a British BSA armour fitted barrrel, showing the appropriate British proofs and BNP proof on the left of the receiver.   The matching bolt shows the LB mark and British proofing.  The receiver shows a British DP mark as does the left side of the socket together with a 1765 DP number.  The rifle is mounted with a 1943 dated English issue sling.  The wood rates as very good plus.  This 1942 Canadian Long Branch was probably in the shipment of early rifles sent to England at that time.  A Long Branch that probably remained in English service.
