• Description:

  SN 1084 is an all matching Royal Irish Constabulary (RIC) carbine.  This example was converted from a 1896 Lee Metford carbine as per the left side of the socket.  This example shows 95% plus blue and a bright excellent plus bore.  The wood remains in excellent condition.  The stock disk shows the R.I.C. mark issue #4064 and the 4/1904 date.  The issue leather sling shows a makers name and a 1940 date.
