  SN B96801 is one of the Jungle Carbines built at BSA Shirley and marked M47C coded date 1945.  This example shows a bright excellent bore and matching serial numbers.  The example remains in overall excellent condition metal and wood.  The serial number is repeated on various parts of the wood.  This might suggest that it was re issued post WW2 to some smaller nation or national police force that marked the additional but matching numbers.  A nice clean example for the Lee Enfield collection.  Non restricted.
