  SN10757 is a British built No 4 MK 1.  The socket is marked M 1944 over BM over serial # 10754.  This excellent example shows a matching bolt and a bright excellent plus 303 caliber bore.  The M ahead of the 1944 date suggests ROF Maltby. (1941-1946).  This rifle shows excellent original blue on the action and the various component parts.  The wood shows inspection marks and remains in overall excellent condition. A better than average example of a British WW2 Lee Enfield.
