• Description:

  Lee Enfield No 4 MK 1* built by Long Branch 1942.  This is one of the 1,020 No 4's as issued to the RCMP.  This rifle was refurbished and issued to the force following WW2.  The period of service was from 1947 to 1966 as per" Don Klancher Arms & Accoutrments of the Mounted Police 1873 to 1973".  This piece shows the MP mark on the receiver.  This piece is matching, shows a bright excellent bore and an overall excellent finish metal and wood.  This serial # appears on the Klancher list on page 193 aforesaid.  A piece for the Lee Enfield or the RCMP collector.
