• Description:

  SN K50359 is a Lee Enfield No 1 MK3* built in 1918 by BSA.  This rifle shows a bright very good to excellent 303 caliber bore.  All the component parts are matching.  The right side of the receiver shows a 38 stamping, the left rear of the receiver show a P-H (Parker Hale ) above an inspectors mark.  This WW1 rifle was probably refurbished at this time.  The wood retains the volley sights which were eliminated prior to 1918.  It would suggest the rifle was restocked prior to WW2. An overall very good example of a Lee Enfield of WW1 and possible WW2 service.
