A scarce part unit is a Lee Enfield Carbine MKI barrel and receiver dated 1898. This item shows a clean shootable bore, slight corrosion and sound rifling rating very good. This piece shows it's original front and rear sight, clean sharp markings and surplus sale broad arrow. The frame socket shows Enfield over 1898 over L:E.C 1. The underside of the barrel shows multiple arsenal and proof marks. The sight, barrel and frame show serial number 9484. This carbine was probably one of the MKI's acquired by Canada. A very scarce and expensive part unit. All parts sold on a no return basis.
