• Description:

  Lee Enfield factory converted to Sporter and exported out of England circa 1960's.  These military rifles were sporterized and shipped to Canada to be sold as sporting rifles.  Pieces such as this were sold by Simpsons, Eatons and other retailers.  Note made in England and exposed barrel proof which were marking required prior to export.  This piece shows a bright very good 303 caliber bore in the 24" barrel, 0 Bolt head, ramped front site and 5 round factory modified magazine.  An excellent and solid Sporter.
