• Description:

  BSA pistol grip checkered sporting short rifle.  For reference see page 116-117 THE LEE ENFIELD by Skennerton.  This piece is complete with a overall very good appearance.  The barrel is 21 1/2" showing a commercial ramp front sight and an express rear sight with 3 leaves and elevator sight.  This gun shows normal usage.  The bore is good plus with soft but sound rifling with some frosting/fine pitting in the grooves.  The factory checkered stock shows a dovetailed ebony forend cap, two factory sling swivel studs and silver escutcheon.  The buttplate is steel with trap.  There is an excellent quality repair on the top forward comb.  Rifle has a carbine style bolt and cover.  There are clear markings including the BSA logo on the knox form.  This wold make a nice addition to any Lee Enfield collection.
