• Description:

  SN 8993 is a British No. 5 MKI carbine.  This example was built at Fazkerley in July 1944.  All numbers match, a #1 bolt head and a bright excellent bore.  The wood is sound  and original with a re-inforcement screw in the forewood.  The barrel appears to show some added finish.  From it's appearance, this No 5 probably saw service in Post War Burma.  A sound example.
