  Antique British Lacy & Co percussion belt pistol.  This firm was a maker from 1776 to 1840. This percussion belt pistol was built prior to 1840 when the firm became Lacy & Reynolds.  This pistol shows an overall length of 9 1/2" with a 65 caliber bright excellent bore.  This exceptionally well made pistol shows a swivel ramrod and a belt hook which the maker was noted for.  Overall excellent fine engraving on the hammer, frame and buttcap (with trap) . The finish shows trace of color and overall brown petina. The grip shows excellent super fine checkering. An above average example of a quality belt pistol built prior to 1840.  Antique
