  Flint Pocket Pistol built by the noted maker, Joseph Manton, London.  Joseph Manton (1795-1835) was a noted maker and firearm inventor including the percussion cap.  This pocket pistol is complete and working. This pistol shows fine engraving and an overall grey finish related to poor storage.  A portion of the slide bar safety is missing.  An example of Manton's work despite the lesser finish.
