• Description:

  Serial # 0141 is a Johnson automatic rifle from WWII,caliber 30-06.  The receiver shows the patent marking, the make, model and the low serial number 0141.  The right tail of the receiver shows a star and Cranston Arms Co. marking.  The finish is overall grey, remnants of its original parkerized finish.  This example shows it's obvious usage.  The bore rates as good to good plus with worn rifling and fine corrosion.  The majority of these rifles found in Canada were imported in the 1960's by International Firearms from the Dutch East Indies.  The area of usage is reflected by the condition . The wood is complete but shows prior cleaning.    This example is one of the approximtely 70,000 Model 1941 rifles built.  This example shows a very early serial # 0141 indicating this was one of the earliest rifles built at the initial start of production.
