NSN is an Iver Johnson single shot rifle. This rifle was probably not built by Iver Johnson but imported from Canada or Germany. This piece is a Model 2X, 24" barrel, chrome plated bolt and trigger, patented automatic safety, built 1930-1955. This piece shows a bright excellent bore and working action. The receiver is marked Pat'O Canada 1931. The wood shows obvious wear and an old repair at the bottom of the stock adjoing the butt plate. A piece for the Iver Johnson or Canadian collector.
