  SN 10. This is an original factory cut-away salesman's demonstration piece. This was used to show the function and strength of the I.J. Champion shotgun. This collector's piece retains all of its original factory nickel, wood finish and cut butt. To avoid any questions of legality, this piece has been fitted with a stainless barrel/chamber plug inserted into the barrel & chamber. This piece was pinned and welded in place. It is impossible to chamber a cartridge in this piece. The cuts are all factory. A display or demonstration piece and a non gun. We estimate that this piece was built as a cut-away, at some point in time in the 1930's or 40's . A unique collector grade piece for the shotgun, cut-away or Iver Johnson Collector. This piece is SN 10 of probably 10 pieces built by the factory.
