• Description:

  SN 39998 is an Iver Johnson Champion 12 gauge, 30 1/4" barrel.  This shotgun shows most of its original blue and retains the case color on the frame.  The wood appears to have been cleaned by a former owner but is original to the item.  The original owl head buttplate remains in place .  The barrel is marked 'Barrel and lug forged in one" . This model was produced from the early 1920's to the 1970's.  This model Iver Johnson was popular in Canada and was a competitor to the Cooey shotguns.  This example shows an above average metal finish.
