  SN 717 is one of the 7.62 (308) Mauser 98K rifles.  This example is one of the Czech built rifles with the oversized winter triggerguard.  This piece shows the barrel date of December 1956 with the Hebrew markings.  The receiver ring shows the Star of David mark and the 7.62 caliber mark.  Bright excellent bore, matching bolt and mismatched part numbers.  An above average example both metal and wood.  Tight smooth action.
