Ref. See page 300-301 of "Bayonets of the World" by Kiesling. This bayonet was built in England for India. The bayonet was built for the Enfield percussion rifles, the Snider and the Martini. This example shows remnants of the British makers name and code B13. The base of the blade shows the Hindi markings on two sides, sound condition. One of 20,020 built by seven of the Birmingham makers. A scarce socket bayonet with no scabbard.
