  No 5 Jungle Carbine bayonet, this piece is an original bayonet from the March 1945 contract and one of the 42,000 built by Viners Ltd. of Sheffield.  The blade is marked with the correct N79 code.  This piece rides in a correct and original MK 2 scabbard with a broad arrow 1945 dated canvas frog.  An excellent example in better than average condition.  A piece for the Lee Enfield or the bayonet collector.
