  SN 864 is a Loewe, Berlin built 88 rifle, dated 1890.  The 29" barrel shows an uncommon bright bore that rates very good.  This piece shows clear markings, sight numbers, proofs and traces of the German wood markings.  The barrel and frame are matching- most other parts are not.  The bolt is renumbered and shows Farsi markings on the same .  A better than average example of a GEW 88.
