German Dress Walking-Out Bayonet
This German bayonet was built by Carl Eickhorn. This example appears to be a dress bayonet that may have made it to the front. Various publications on bayonets indicate that many dress bayonets did so in the later days of WW2. This example shows the blade edge sharpened and the Quillion ground off. This piece shows most of its' original nickel. The scabbard shows loss of its' original paint probably associated with actual usage. A Canadian "bring back" piece.
