  • Description:

SN 115726  This is a Nazi marked FN Model 1922 Browning semi auto pistol with inscribed holster, spare factory magazine and records.  Pistol is all matching and retains about 95% plus original finish on the metal.  The bore rates bright and excellent.  Left side of the frame and slide show the appropriate Nazi proofs and Waffenampt WaA140 marks.  The grips are original and remain in excellent plus condition.  The magazine is also original FN and shows a matching Waffenampt WaA140 code.  The overall condition of the interior shows little evidence of actual usage.  The pistol rides in an original 1st model holster and the front edge of the flap shows the makers mark with crossed rifles and pistols of the Albrecht-Kind manufacturer.  The holster is complete, sound with excellent stitching and finish comparable to the pistol.  The interior of the flap is ink marked with the following "THANKS FOR YOUR FRIENDSHIP/TO GEORGE FROM JOHN/JOHN DIED STROKE FEB 1988...SIGNED JOHN H BURNS 1945"  Also included are 13 pages of records for John Herbert Burns of Toronto Ontario, Reg # B-23114.  He joined the Canadian Services in July 1940 and continued in service up to the 12th of December 1945.  There are numerous deletions in his file reflecting his service and interesting military career.  Prohib status or can be deactivated.
