Antique flint full stocked fowling piece,34" barrel, approximately 20 gauge. This piece shows the original lock marked W. Hollett with light schroll engraving. The barrel shows a typical corroded bore and what appears to be English proofs with a RW mark at the breech. This piece is mounted with all original brass fittings. The stock shows an excellent tiger stripped grain and is mounted with a higher quality side plate. This example shows a lot of usage but has the potential of improvement with some serious work on the metal & wood.
