Lefaucheux Pin Fire Revolver Engraved Antique

    SN 6754 is a 12MM (44 caliber) Model 1854 factory engraved and factory cased pin fire revolver.  This revolver shows total engraving over the frame, cylinder,hammer,straps, trigger guard and butt cap. The top of the barrel shows engraving encasing the LeFaucheux name and Paris.  The frame shows the serial # 6754.  The engraving and background stippling speaks for itself.  The factory in the white finish remains in excellent condition with no trace of any corrosion.  The grips show original factory finish.  The gun has been fired but sparingly, bright excellent bore and cylinders rate as excellent with a sound positive action.  This revolver comes in it's factory case showing LeFaucheux Paris in gold paint.  The case shows all matching grain pattern with no cracks or repairs.  The green velvet lining remains in excellent plus condition.  The contents of the case are all original  and consist of a steel cleaning rod,oiler, bullet mold, turn screw and original case key.  Also included are 8 - 12MM short cartridges built by Eley, London.  Also included is a full original box of 12MM long cartridges built by Houllier-Blanchard, Paris.  The box and cartridges remain in excellent original condition.  This model LeFaucheux in 12MM was considered to be the most modern revolver to see service in the American Civil War.  This cased revolver will make an excellent addition to any 19th century handgun collection.  (Antique)
