Canadian Issue Cavalry Sword

• Description:

  Pattern 1908 Enfield built WW1 Cavalry sword.  This example shows the Efd broad arrow on the blade and the C broad arrow Canadian mark.  The sword is dated 1916.  Both the sword and the scabbard are marked P.L.D.G. (Princess Louise Dragon Guards A.SN 30).  The sword and scabbard are C broad arrow marked in 4 locations.  The guard shows a reissue date 6/1921.  An overall excellent example of the issued Cavalry sword in the English and Canadian service.
