• Description:

  This orignal small flint pistol shows a 3" bell mouthed barrel, 45 caliber.  The octagon base shows gold filled decoration.  The original lock measures 2 5/8".  The piece is stocked in high grain  walnut.  The piece shows silver side plate, trigger guard asssembly and a parrot beaked silver butt cap.  The only marking on the silver fittings is a deer head with horns.  There are no visible maker marks-  our guess is continental Europe.  A less than common piece in overall excellent condition.
