• Description:

  An excellent plus example of a British issue Pattern Cavalry Carbine, 577 caliber with a bright excellent rifled bore.  The lock shows crown,V9, 1861 date over Tower.  The sight is graduated 200 & 300 yards and mounted on the 21" barrel.  The metal rates as excellent.  The wood rates excellent and shows a clear WO broad arrow 1861 dated roundel.  A collector grade example of a relatively scarce British Carbine. The wood shows a protective coat of clear varnish.  Antique Status
