  SN G7358 built 1939 showing the Enfield markings and crown.  This example shows the hammer spur removed and the revolver being double action only.  All matchng numbers, bright excellent bore, Royal cypher on the frame with 1939 date.  Original wood grips.  This revolver was issued in 1957 and marked on the butt WLH/5/57.  This would indicate that the revolver was issued in South Africa to the Western Light Horse.  A scarce example show issue to a Commonwealth unit.
