• Description:

  SN A20 appears on the nosecap barrel9under the wood) and bolt.  This rifle was built at the start of the second series of 10,000 rifles.  The total production was 20,000 making it a scarcer variation of the Lee Enfield rifles.  This example shows a bright, excellent bore.  The receiver socket shows clear markings and a 1924 date.  The receiver number is obliterated by over stamped proofs.  The metal and  wood remain in sound condition showing obvious issue and usage marks, but no replacements or repairs.  One of the limited issued Lee Enfield rifles with only 20,000 produced.  A piece for the Enfield or British military collector.  Non restricted
