• Description:

  Antique Martini Henry MKIII dated 1883.  This 577-450 Martini shows a bright excellent bore.  All markings are clear and crisp.  The barrel shows 80-85% original blue finish.  The area ahead of the front band shows storage pitting on the top of the barrel.  The first 5" below the front band shows some scattered minor pits.  The main body of the barrel remains very good to excellent.  The balance of the metal rates very good with duller blue.  The wood on this example rates as excellent showing most of the original finish and sharp markings and original rod.
