This example shows sn #2789A out of a relatively small issue of this model bayonet and was issued to the calvary and horse artillery. This bayonet rests in a leather scabbard of which relatively few survived. For reference :page 146 No 3 "Bayonets Janzen's Notebook". This is one of the bayonets issued between the wars with composition grips. A sound example in excellent condition.
