  SN 4082 is a deactivated MP 40 dated 1941, code BNZ (Steyr) built.  This example shows the correct Waa 623 markings on the receiver, body and butt.  All matching serial numbers with the exception of the barrel.  It shows an eagle proof and is a German Armory replacement with a later war built piece.  The front sight unit shows matching 082 serial.  This example shows the correct mag flat housing and an original sling deactivated to current standards.  No permit required to purchase or own.
